Delete Specific Data

Almost everything Quotify stores about you can be deleted by you, inside the app, without contacting anyone and without giving up your account. This page lists each path, and explains what to do for the few things that are not in your hands.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Each of these actions asks for confirmation first and cannot be undone afterwards.

How deletion syncs

Quotify stores your library on the device first, so a deletion applies instantly even when you are offline. The removal is queued and pushed to the cloud as soon as the app is online again, which is when the matching document disappears from our storage. If you delete something offline and never open the app online again, the local copy is gone but the cloud copy waits for that sync.

Clearing local data outside the app

Android's own settings give you two more options that need no account at all:

Settings - Apps - Quotify - Storage - Clear storage removes the local database and every setting the app has saved on the device.
Uninstalling removes the same data.

Neither of those touches the copy in the cloud. To remove that, delete the items in the app or delete the account.

Ask us to delete something

If you cannot reach the app, or you want something removed that has no in-app control - feedback you submitted, AI usage counters, a support email thread - write to lumadaystudio@gmail.com with the subject Quotify data deletion request and include:

the app name: Quotify;
the email address linked to your account, sent from that same address so we can verify it is you;
what exactly you want deleted;
anything that helps us find it - a folder name, part of a quote, an approximate date, or your Firebase user ID.

We reply within 30 days. If we cannot confirm that the request comes from the account holder, we will ask for more detail rather than delete someone else's data.

What we cannot remove on request

Purchase and subscription records that Google Play keeps, and the minimum copy we must retain for accounting, tax and dispute handling.
Crash and analytics records already collected by Firebase; these expire on Google's own retention schedule and are not linked to your library.
Data we are legally required to keep, for as long as that requirement lasts.

Deleting individual items does not delete your account. For permanent account deletion use the Account and Data Deletion page - and cancel any active subscription in Google Play first.
